Goodbye 2021

Here we are once again, seeing off the year. A year that was quite different from rest of the years. A year of some hope after its predecessor has wrecked havoc in the world. A year with uncertainties still looming large. A year which has robbed children of their natural education and life. We can go on listing the distinctions of this year. But now let's bid adieu to this year on a positive note. Let's promise this passing year that we will not let the coming year slip by loosing heart and spirit. I am not here to retrospect on the incidences in the world. As usual I want all of us to introspect on our own worlds within. The outer world is not in our control but the inner world totally is. The outer world may be prosperous and blooming while your inner world is poor and withered. You might have observed many rich people walking the earth with gloomy faces while the people doing just OK seems to be oozing out the positivity. This difference comes from the state of your inner world. World can rob you of wealth but not happiness, good food but not good thoughts, good clothes but not good values. These are the things to be treasured without being afraid of getting looted. This year has pinned the importance of so many things bestowed on to us but which we take for granted. In this very year we have realized that we have very many things to celebrate for, like:

  • We are still breathing the oxygen in the nature.
  • We are still able to smell the fragrance of the flowers.
  • We are still able to see the sunrise and shining stars.
  • We are still able to listen to the chirping birds and whistling palms.
  • We are still able to get the goosebumps from the chilling winds.
  • We are still able to taste our coffee.
  • We are still able to walk on our legs.
  • We are still able to speak and sing and communicate.
  • and on
  • and on
  • and on

We Are Alive!

And what more can we really expect from this beautiful life. We must simply drop all the layers of the egos coated onto our soul by this materialistic outer world so that we can once again start valuing and appreciating the enormous gifts bestowed upon us.

So let's thank the passing year for helping us all to take a step in this direction.

Ciao in a beautiful year ahead!
